Preparing for the Marathon: My To-Do List

I like love planning.  Whether it’s putting together a training plan, making a to-do list, or updating my calendar, I’m all about it.  As Jillian Michaels has said – “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” and I totally agree!  Planning helps me to squeeze in a workout on a busy day or take a healthy packed lunch instead of grabbing take out at work.

So…being the planning fanatic that I am, it should be no surprise that I have a Marathon To-Do List.  Many of these items are just reminders of what I should be doing this week, but I like being able to see them written down and it helps to put me in the right mindset for this weekend.

Here’s my Marathon To-Do List:

    I have lists for my lists!! It may be a runner trait. Have a great race and an awesome time! I want to run Disney so bad.

    Good luck! I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Disney Marathon! And great list! I think “visualize success” is one of the most important ones on there because running marathons because just as much of a mental battle toward the end as a physical battle. You guys will do great!
