A few years ago our lives looked very different than they do today. After getting married in June 2010, we decided that we needed to make some major lifestyle changes. Our goal was to lose weight and get healthy. It seemed very overwhelming and we knew that it wouldn’t be easy, but we had to start somewhere.
We started making more healthier choices everyday – eating less, moving more. Since June 2010, we have lost a total of 220 pounds (Mark – 160 pounds, Sarah – 60 pounds). We started running using the Couch to 5k program and since then we have completed several half marathons. We recently ran our first marathon on January 13, 2013 in Disney World.
